The planned flow
The wizard guides venue owners through every setup decision in the right order — no assumptions about technical knowledge, no dead ends:
Name your venue
Set your venue name, location type (coffee shop, inn, coworking, etc.), and slug. This creates your venue record and dashboard URL.
Upload your logo
Upload a logo or choose a placeholder. The wizard renders a live preview of your portal as guests will see it.
Write your welcome message
Custom headline and body copy for your splash page. Suggestions included based on your venue type.
Connect your router
Select your router model. The wizard shows the exact configuration steps for that model, with screenshots.
Verify the connection
The wizard walks you through a test connection — confirm the portal appears and authentication works before going live.
Go live
Your portal is active. Your dashboard link is ready. The wizard hands off to the venue dashboard for ongoing management.
Why this matters
Right now, getting set up requires reading setup guides and configuring things manually. That works — but it creates friction for venue owners who aren't technical. The wizard removes that friction entirely.
The goal: a non-technical venue owner with a supported router can go live without contacting support, reading documentation, or making a configuration decision they don't understand.
